"Non-Opposing Forces on Battlefield Stanton," a performance by Rachel Mason on Wed. Jun. 18th, 6:30-7:30PM @ Smith-Stewart. Mason performs "My Chechen Wolves," a song based on the Chechen leader Dzhokhar Dudayev with Jason Ajemian, who brings his ensemble of five musicians to perform an orchestrated improvisation for the invocation of "Warlord."
Jen DeNike presents a series of weekly unannounced intermittent performances at Smith-Stewart. DeNike invites different female performers to wear a bikini, the artist cast in brass and dipped in gold, to create a living sculpture. The artist will also make an appearance. When the bikini is not occupied by a performer it exists in the gallery as a sculpture.
